I was 5 days late
---------------------------------------- I wanted to crunch for climateprediction.net but my Pentium 3 didn't meet the spec. I heard about WCG on the BBC news website, and thought I would crunch here until I could afford a PC that met the spec for climateprediction.net. 6 years later I'm still here ![]() ![]() |

Happy Birthday WCG. Can anyone remember how they first heard of WCG, especially the people who joined in the first week. Patrick I read about donating idle CPU time somewhere on the web. I digged a little further and found BOINCstats. After looking around there I found WCG and decided to contribute 100% idle CPU to it as it was (still is?) the only humanitarian project with a clear policy of making all results available to the public domain. ![]() |
