As I remember this issue came up before. I think it had something to do with how the forum software handles UTC vs local time. The "official" time stamp should be what is shown at the top of "My Grid". Wish I could remember the details. In the forums you can pick what timezone to display the date-time fields in. The database stores it in UTC. If you go onto the website, they are only displayed in UTC. Thus if two people have it set to different offsets from UTC they will see different times and potentially a different date as well.

Interesting! I am recorded as having been present at the birth too. But how was the actual birth day decided upon? According to the list of the First 5,000 Registered Members, 394 people joined before 2004-11-16. Surely they're not all techs who worked on the environment before we started crunching...?
