Hi Sgt.Joe, no secret at all - we actually wrote about this a couple of times already.

OK, I should have remembered and looked back in the thread. I will try not to ask any more redundant questions. biggrin
Cheers

Ah...so that's the secret: Order hard drives by the gross instead of half a dozen at a time, and they arrive properly packed instead of slip-sliding away...

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

Hi Sgt.Joe,
no worries - we are always happy to chat with you guys and there is always a bit of redundancy :).

Hi ibsteve2u,
well, I guess most people don't purchase drives by the dozens, so we are amongst the few lucky ones who benefit from proper packaging :).

Best wishes from
Your Harvard CEP team

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

We just finished the refactoring of our molecular candidate library bookkeeping and maintenance system. We also used the opportunity to clean up the entire platform, which is responsible for the library generation, workunit generation, the giftwrapping process and the communication with our friends at IBM-WCG. All in all a proper spring-cleanup, now we just have to wait for the spring biggrin.

Re: Research Log: Updates from the Harvard Team

All righty, the CEP workunit generation module also got a little revamp and we have finished a fresh batch of workunits for the grid and another one for our cluster. Still plenty of work to go around :).
