On Friday Prof. Ronald Griessen from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam visited us here in Cambridge as he was interested in getting a first-hand impression on how things are going at the Clean Energy Project. It was great having him here and we enjoyed many thoughtful discussions.

It is good to see news of some of the cross-pollination of Basic Research and our really fabulous D.O.E. labs. I remember being told that you guys also work with SLAC and the supercomputer center at UCSD.

Despite the relatively weak returns during these hot days we just passed the mark of 11,000 years of collected computing time. Excellent everybody – keep up the good work!

Our friend SekeRob has done a bit of a statistical analysis of the CEP2 crunching over the past 2 years which we found quite neat. Enjoy!
