I know we have had many, many "discussions" about how credits are rewarded, but today it seems I need to open up a discussion on how does boinc determine how much credits to ask for. Normally it seems pretty consistent (how much CPU time you crunch * how power your system is), but today I am getting odd numbers. It is only on 1 machine, but still. All 6 of these WU were uploaded at roughly the same time (one after the other), on the same machine, and yet the amount requested is all over the place. I believe the 6 pts per hr is what this machine is really capable of.
