Well, if you are badge hunting, remember that HT will count as 2 CPU's for run time. If you disable HT in the BIOS, it will only count as one. If your units are finishing on time, I recommend leaving it on. So, if you are going strictly points, just switch it to 50% usage within BOINC and see if your points go up or down.
