If one can't get at least a bronze beta badge by the time he or she reaches guru, then they're not really putting forth the effort. Guru is supposed to signify more than just time or computers. It's supposed to indicate an understanding of the WCG system and I feel that beta participation should be included in that knowledge. I missed this discussion, but that won't keep me from adding my 2 cent.  That sounds all well and good, but a beta badge shouldn't be any more important than one of the other badges. Beta is just like any intermittent project where manual intervention is required to get WUs. |

First things first:
----------------------------------------Congratulations RAMMIE!!   I missed this discussion, but that won't keep me from adding my 2 cent. That sounds all well and good, but a beta badge shouldn't be any more important than one of the other badges. Beta is just like any intermittent project where manual intervention is required to get WUs. Thanks for the 2 cents BladeD. All input is welcome. The guru definition has gone through a few iterations before settling on the current version. I'm happy with it the way it is now.
