Thread: stats all wrong, please help an idiot sort her account out. |

Hi, I have no idea where to start on this.
----------------------------------------Basically, my stats on here show me as having 124,815 points. My Boinc Manager only shows me as having 17830.88 a difference of nearly 107,000 points. Boincstats also shows me as only having 17,830, but does show me as adding a new host twice on 4/9/10 here which I didnt do and here again I didnt do. I have no idea what is going on, can anyone confirm my points total on here WCG is correct and if so then any ideas as to why other sites are showing me with so much less credit? Thank you.   |

not sure about the host thing, but for the reason for the differences between is because WCG mutiples the points you get from boinc by 7

Hi,
----------------------------------------if you take the credit total in your client and multiply by 7 you get WCG (legacy) points. Some members report that BOINC's gone bonkers and creates now host IDs on BOINCstats. Wow thanks for the quick replies. Yes this is not the only project Boinc or Boincstats has created new hosts for , in fact I show as having 5 hosts, when I have only ever had one???? Its a shame we cant merge hosts on here as my 3 that show are in fact only one pc.

----------------------------------------On the host creations, what's the client version and is the client associated with the BOINCStats BAM account manager? Not really of value with one host but for easily changing resource shares from a central place. Nice to play around and make changes on a running host even when on vacation in Timbuktu. cheers

Hi, client version is 6.10.58 which seems to be the possible cause having read another thread in BoincStats forum. Yes I am connected through BAM and do manage them all as much as possible through there.
