Last week, I was hyping the cause to some fellow employees, and the best that I could do is link to various youtube ads (years old), boinc and wgc website, etc.
Afterward, I asked them what they felt about the program and their feedback on the effectiveness of the material. (these were primarily auditors and middle-level executives)

They saw it as computer geek related activities and not something for the non-computer professional to be interested in. Yea, they understood that it had something to do with research, but, it didn't sound something they could partcipate in.

And, I felt that they were trying to be nice in their feedback. (hopefully, I will still get someone asking me more about it later.)

As any of the sponers/partners (like IBM) thought about providing BOINC/WCG with some advertising budget so that professional press release / white papers (oriented toward the non-geek) could be published?
