Re: Computer theft solved thanks to BOINC

So there I was running WUProp and thought to have a look at credit, and may have stumbled on the best there is:

28679639 30005 16 Jun 2013 20:26:17 UTC 16 Jun 2013 23:26:41 UTC Completed and validated 10,803.75 4.48 7.00 Data collect version 3 v3.50 (nci)

7 credit for 4.48 seconds is 3600/4.48*7 = 5625 credit per CPU hour for 1 CPU thread. 'd think even GPU's have a hard time matching that laughing

(of course, who's fooling who... any device can only do 8 of these per day since they take 3 hours 'elapsed' a piece.)

It's worth a bump notwithstanding... some lock the front door and windows, but only in countries such as where I live, many have bars front of them to keep the burglars out, or like our house, sturdy roll down blinds which are closed when we're not there [a good sign for the thieving guild]. English burglars respect glass, or so I took away from Scribe's post [He's in Haggis heaven right now ;D].
