Received value will change when it becomes Valid to about 266 - if that's what you are getting at?

Thanks - I know that, was just wondering what PC type claimed that many.

HPF2 uses the average of the first 15 returned results without direct error to validate and compute the points. Any Outliers, those claiming way too high or too low (>15% or 50% more than mean claim I think), are not included in the calculation. They then get the average of the granted to others, so 266 is likely turning into something in the range of 80-120, depending how hard the group of fold jobs had to crunch. Here's my last computed set of crunched HPF2:

Hopefully the owner will reply. ((I do know how the points system works)) |

OK, that was not obvious from your query, and since we try to inform all members who might have thought same, they now know too :D
----------------------------------------If I switch back to the .deb kit on Linux my Q6600 stock running quad client would claim 266 for an 8 hour job... nothing wondrous... quorums for HPF2 are not running according the homogeneity principle. They are a random mix of all platforms. Thanks for contributing to WCG.

They are the points the computer asked for. It has not got the points yet and as sekerob said, will likely get less points - unless it was an unusually long task.
Example, ns313_ 00010_ 10-- 1292373 Valid 29-8-10 23:55:03 2-9-10 13:35:56 5.51 99.3 / 78.0 What the computer wants What the computer got. |

... unless sarnia is pointing out that the grant was zero as in 'Rec' instead of using 'Grant' as the indicator, but it's guessing... invalid get half of the quorum and error get full of the quorum (because WCG assumes that errors are their app's fault).
----------------------------------------The owner responding? There are many thousands of devices which particularly in office environment run in absolute set / forget mode. A farm manager seeing thousands of tasks passing through the RS pages may most likely never see or bother... at that level it becomes fail rate percentage. The Result log of that particular wingman's task may reveal something.
