One thing is noticable, here in the outback, all parts WCG are extremely slow to respond (website incl). My stats engine is either timing out or failing at that, which is rare... anyone hammering the servers?

WCG's running normal here in the city of la bestia negra ;)
Got none of the a's neither a message indicating another computer did. Guess they just silently went to some lucky crunchers.

ot edit:
within the next eight hours

Why does the forum clock tell me UTC+1 hours time? I'm at +2. UTC would make things easier. smile

Hello herna,
Select My Forum Profile to see what time zone the forum thinks you are in. Select Change My Information to change it. I change this twice a year to adjust for Daylight Saving Time.

The forum does not know about daylight saving time adjustments. These have to be done manually.

First switched from Google DNS to ISP DNS, no improvement. Then switched from that to OpenDNS and instant *instant* response for WCG and other sites across the big pond.

Suddenly I have A types on all cores (just kidding, if only that were true ;o)

Yup, I'm all summer on the Bucharest timezone, when really in the CET... darn Brits also shift their time, so it's 2 hours off from UTC[GMT] instead of 1 ;P
