Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

That might have been me tony. I had a bunch of tasks that would have been really pushing it to get them done by the deadline and I picked up gold this time around so decided to abort i think about 100 of them to let others who are very close to a badge have a shot at them. I figured it did not make sense to wait a few days for them to auto abort for being late, so user aborted them so that someone else could immediately get to them and get the results in faster.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Did 15 days runtime in all for this last shower. This brings me at a total of 110 days. I need 70 days for Ruby. That will be hard. To appear in my signature I need at least one year runtime and that is Emerald. Maybe this project will never make it. sad

Hang in there. You'll get there eventually.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

As at noon 296,686 have validated for the latest shower. An estimated 12K tasks missing, at least half of that *In Progress*.

Curious is that of the 934 my hosts completed, 705 are still listed, of which 5 are in PV jail, in amongst one that is about to get it's 3rd wingman due a No Reply:

dg05_ a044_ sdb000_ 0-- 1854592 Valid 1/13/12 05:34:40 1/14/12 20:28:38 1.40 32.7 / 33.6

Pretty plz, these half of 12K results *In Progress* is holding up 705 [showing on my RS pages] / 934 [processed by my hosts] or an estimated 75% of the batches in this rain from return to the scientists! Can we help Usha to continue on with here analysis come Monday?

Dengue is ultra bad since 2011, latest epidemic break out in Suriname. Thank you so much in helping to push the research forward.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Sekerob... I can't speak for the others, but in my case I have been crunching DDDT2 as fast as my 2 CPUs will let me (and I imagine that there are many others like me). So I would hope that DDDT2 is on everybody else's priority crunching list. I will be finishing up today with my batch of DDDT2 WUs. This rain was beneficial to me... aprox 17 days worth of crunched WUs and I got a bronze badge out of it too.

Gotta keep crunching....

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

All of my DDDT2 work finished a week ago, except for one resend I got a few days ago. Still looking for the resends while I am back crunching for Malaria. I've been watching the PV go down, now just 6 units left still waiting. Looks like I will miss Sapphire by a few hours, though, unless a few of those resends come my way. wink

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

I finished processing the last of my DDDT2 WUs this afternoon:

139 WUs successfully processed biggrin
21 WUs aborted crying
17 Days run time
1 Bronze badge

Sure learned a lot with this rain of DDDT2 WUs... hopefully I'll be able to do better in the future.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

As of noon I've got 582 DDDT2 left [on 39 RS pages] of 934 processed, all approved. About 60% of the batches seeking last validations for completion and upload the Galveston [if the science team is still there]. 300,864 results have validated for this release, less than 10K MIA [guess]. Is there anybody out there?

I didn't pickup any with one of my PCs set to DDDT2 only for the last week.

Re: New thread for It's raining Dengue, Hallelujah!...

Seems from the rapid validation drop offs, that there's a lot less 'no reply' and repair work needed than past. Here the last 5 days:

26th 11,810
27th 9,262
28th 6,112
29th 2,536
30th 0,967 (est. on morning returns)

With cumulative 302,210 validated and the original set almost exactly 300,000, a fail rate of barely over 1%. Chip-Waver manufacturers would be jealous [let the challenge begin ;>]

Any rate, looks like there's now but a thousand and a half, max, in need of reporting to match with those in PV jail, waiting in baited breath to complete their badge increment [I'm still 116 days away]. Based on the remaining valid results on my RS pages of 508 and the 934 originally validated, there's about 54% of batches that are in need of one or more results to be returned. That's about 10 days after last new work was circulated... my last receipt was on the 19th, no kiddin.
