Re: Computing for Clean Water Badge Recognition Thread

Well done Dataman for beating me (this time) to opening this thread biggrin I knew I shouldn't have gone away this weekend... Oh well...

As to the badges, yes, they look very nice (I'd worked out the filepath and had a look at them a few weeks back - on the 7th of August, although I thought I'd keep it all quiet until the official launch).

Re: Computing for Clean Water Badge Recognition Thread

So why weren't we automatically opted in if we had that check box clicked?

Re: Computing for Clean Water Badge Recognition Thread

We have to run a script that opts people in based on their preferences. We are running this script now and it generally takes 3 hours to run.

Helter Skelter

c4cw_ target01_ 000374722_ 0-- 1292373 Valid 23-8-10 16:11:32 23-8-10 18:05:57 1.42 25.6 / 27.9

and the lowest WU number picked up 000068084 ... the highest number seen in beta was at least 19 million, but the science info suggests way way way more.

Re: Computing for Clean Water Badge Recognition Thread

Finished my first one! In Ubuntu 10.04 on a C2D 6700 (2.66GHz), running alongside a CEP2, it took about 78 minutes.

I saw the option this morning, and manually selected it. Got one right away!

Edit: Confirm no graphics in Linux.
