Re: Computing for Clean Water Badge Recognition Thread

Bronze tonight. smile

Had some problems though. Two machines that were running fine on CCW started generating so many failed WU's with "Computer Error" message that the WCG servers stopped sending new WU's as the daily quota was reached. But now all seem fine again.
Anyway to avoid any new machine stall during my work travel I have now switched to a mix of projects.

Re: Computing for Clean Water Badge Recognition Thread

Bronze this morning, Silver tonite, This is great, but it looks like it is drying up now. I do not seem to be getting as many as before.

I now have my Gold this morning. It does seem like there is not an unlimited supply anymore. I have this project and DDDT2 selected as my only project and over 50% of my work units are from other projects that are not selected.

I do not seem to be getting as many as before.
Not as many is when WCG sets a weight and a quantity for a research per time period, then when more people discover C4CW (absent grand advertising) they might opt to get more on the exclusivity track to get quicker to badge haven, so less is remaining in the general pool for mixed crunchers.

OT: There was an indication in one of uplinger's very recent posts that more would be coming shortly. Stay tuned and crunch whatever else there's on offer. 8 researches and the Beta tract also having 10,000 units send through yesterday and today./OT
