Look at it positively, you have a place of work which many don't have :) but of course it is tiresome to work. I feel the same with my studies; I don't have any weekends or "office hours", you just work until you're done...very tiresome to never know if you'll get a day off sometime or not, everything depending on how the studying goes.
----------------------------------------Living off equiv. $435/month is a no-go when trying to pay bills and so forth. So there is no eating out, going to a movie, bowling or anything really. My biggest wish at this moment is to get a good job after my education that I know I can perform. Btw, how much does 1kWh cost at your place? Here it would be the equivalent of $0,19/kWh...waaay too much in my opinion. I think the power companies should give an allowance to compensate the power we burn crunching. Free power for the computer. If they would do that, I have 20 more machines I could turn on.

I am definitely thankful and blessed that I have a job. I have been without before and it is no fun.

I second that, Damon! Until that happens though...maybe a good thing wuold be to buy a cheap car battery and then charging it by having an exercise bike with several dynamos attached to the wheel, while at the same time letting the PCs (well, one or two maybe) chrunch. Then one can get exercise and do crunching at the same time :)

Soon it is easter at least, maybe one can have some sweets and take some time off.
