Usually, they do not know it was overclocked... ;)
----------------------------------------As long as you do not up the vcore too much and your temps are within limits a CPU should not fail. But it could be your PSU, they can have a habit of outputting voltage spikes when getting old or when starting to fail. Such spikes may well kill CPU and other chips. Especially if the power is unstable to the PC, then the PSU will be taking more hits and more wear. But great to hear you found the failing component! ![]() Join The International Team: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTeamInfo.do?teamId=CK9RP1BKX1 AMD TR2990WX @ PBO, 64GB Quad 3200MHz 14-17-17-17-1T, RX6900XT @ Stock AMD 3800X @ PBO AMD 2700X @ 4GHz |
