Darth - must have cooled off there. I see you're back up in five figures. Still hot. Hit 101F today, was 102F yesterday. It's supposed to be 90-ish tomorrow. The systems are still running less than 100%. We had a multi-hour power outage that hurt my stats so badly the other day. PG&E may not be reliable, but they sure are expensive. .... Wait a minute, that's not good.  - D |

($300>$400>more). You get what you pay for! I'm done with the $49-$99 motherboards. They are junk and the price suggests that. I've got an Asus Digital Home motherboard. It was $399 and worth every single penny of it. No cheap caps, true hardware raid 5, full bandwidth to the memory, fully adjustable voltage and frequencies, a BIOS with more options and adjustments than Windows has, and it's indestructible. To do with what I have done with this motherboard, I would have gone through more of the cheap motherboards than what I paid for this one. You get what you pay for! Expensive motherboards are expensive for a reason. They are worth it. Don't even look at the cheap crap...

Still it's a new DA Record but I missed out, by just over an hour, on a Beta Badge. Aargh I know the feeling! I'm about three hours away from it myself. Race you for it? Got a new CPU cooler the other day so I've upped the crunching processors. Should be squeezing out 20-25k (goal is at least one day of 30k+!) for at least a month until the summer temperatures start hitting! Stay safe everyone! And if anyone is interested in computer security and has some free time, definitely take a look into the Stuxnet worm (although you's have probably all heard about it from the news). It has just about every security professional giddy over it. It's put something that was once just a theory into reality. Especially that it appears it was most likely developed by a government, making it the worlds first cyber weapons (that we know about as the public, at least). |

Wait a minute, that's not good. - D If cap and trade goes thru i don't know how much crunching we can do.we have Dominion Power and they are not cheap either-- Motherboards are not cheap but they allow you to get everything out of all the accessories in the computer--CPU-video card --hard drive--they are unbelievable in the bios--  I was disappointed in the Gigabyte as they are my favorite--Good Morning to all.Cant wait for Dave to come back-- [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 29, 2010 9:20:47 AM] |

Just checked my queues and........no sign of the word BETA in there Bring it on Blueprint My beta: 0:013:20:16:30 It's going to be an interesting battle as I've actually recently (in the last month) had about 5 betas, each between 5-6 hours long! The last was actually on my birthday on the 16th.. So perhaps they favour me Although just my luck I'll get a three hour one and still be under!My 13,000th result is on its way MOT!
