I had several that did this to me too, but I think it was due to memory issues because I also got several microsoft errors saying something about not enough memory (or virtual memory not sure) and it had some sort of C++ error

Close Boinc and then open it again after a few minutes. If tasks are kept in memory they can use up lots of memory when Boinc switches tasks; consider reducing your cache. This may also be a non-Boinc memory issue that is causing problems (system or other program).
----------------------------------------So if that does not work restart the system. Hope you were wise enough to run more than one task type - or you may not be able to pick up new work for a while (24h). If you need more advice post more details. - may also have been other WUs (DDDT2) using up resources! Good Luck, [Edit 2 times, last edit by skgiven at Aug 1, 2010 2:01:27 PM] |
