I am robert s hoover and am not getting credit for my work.
according to the current Account name running world community grid right now my account name is Lotus Lee Bomar Mars Society or Lotus Lee Boma Mars ... My email address is rshspace@yahoo.com. I dont seem to have a correct user name or password. Since I am not getting credits their must be a mixup in user names . How can this be straightened out ? My other projects have Lotus Lee Bomar and Robert S Hoover as the account name . I have been running WCG since 2008 but no credits under the user name robert s hoover according to your email sent to me . Since I have a task running right now how can I clear up this mess of no credits for my work ? I run world community grid 24/7 on 25 or so projects . I used to have Bobhoove@verizon .net or Bobhoove@yahoo.com. Maybe I'm linked to that address. |

Hi Robert,
----------------------------------------The name you see in the BOINC Manager project tab is the one where your credits are going (if in Simple view hover mouse over WCG icon or hit the Advanced button, right bottom). The question is, which user do you want as permanent contributor at WCG. If "robert s hoover" is the one, you can do a 3 step account profile renaming action, to have that one being assigned to your client. For example - Visit robert s hoover and rename to robert s hoover-old - Visit the account shown in the BOINC Manager and rename to robert s hoover - Visit robert s hoover-old again and rename it to Lotus Lee Bomar or whatever name you surely will remember. Do this at different accounts by signing in and out at each step on page https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/viewMyProfile.do (Think there is an FAQ for this in the Start Here forum=. NB: Plz edit your email addresses out or annotate in such a way that machines can't read it. There are spam email address harvesters everywhere!
