Re: Windows Launch still July 17th?

LoL, a new level of snip/cut/context stretching a line, which you will surely have well understood to simply say that it''s not a CEP2 test as Judson thought it was (the guy replied to before nasher slipped in between), and C4CW is now in production or as knreed put it, will not stop [interrupt] until the last unit is loaded. The sizing one of these things the techs do in their rem sleep, kind of, as they are like 23/7 in the office.

As to where the DDDT2 connection comes from I don't know. Really completely not a scheduled function that interferes with the CEP2 coding. DDDT2 is in a state where work unit generation is a quasi routine process, as per design.

Will CEP2 launch soon? That is in the hands of the scientists who have to approve the Alpha results and not heard they're in any pipe. There are a couple of hurdles to deal with that will surely lead to a new Linux version too.

The sizing one of these things the techs do in their rem sleep,

Sek you mean they sleep? !!!!! shock

Everybody knows tech never sleep. They just close one eye and have half their brain sleeping (opposite hemisphere), and in the morning they switch eye and brain hemisphere. Diet Coke and coffee wich are available free through pipelines at the office allow for that miracle. Many years of training and hundreds of gallons of this particular mix are necessary to become a good tech. laughing

uplinger and the tech team, do not be offensed. I have most respect for all what you do at WCG. But I have been for a couple of years myself like that. It even happened a few times that I slept in the computer lab under the table. Ahh those were exciting times. It was the dawn of the personal computer age.

Re: Windows Launch still July 17th?

I'm hoping that the techs drag their feet on the Windows version.

I am enjoying beating Dataman for a project badge.

Of course this is the first and probably last time in history it will ever happen and he will pass me probably within 24 hours of the Windows version being released. lol

Although I have been complaining some about not having a Windows version for CEP2, I have really been able to do a lot of work for DDDT2 and C4CW, even though I had a couple of days when I would accept WUs for any active project.
Not to push, I really want CEP2 available to add to those projects for which I am doing work.

One of my favorite quotes, thanks for putting it in.

In the temporary absence of steady DDD2 tasks flow I am switching to "Water" project too. Badge hunting rules!
