Re: Windows Launch still July 17th?

Hi. I'm still waiting myself. The idea kind of 'hooked' me from the beginning, and I can't wait to get started using my Windows 7 BOINC client. It's working on "Helping Conquer Cancer" now.

Re: Windows Launch still July 17th?

Considered running Ubuntu via VMware in Win XP but seems to be too much effort.
Impatiently awaiting the arrival of the Windows version, so I can begin crunching. It will be appropriate since the computers are now powered by the in-house solar power PV system!

Re: Windows Launch still July 17th?

well congrats mark on powering your computer via a PV system

myself i am still holding out on windows for this project right now im badge hunting for my DDDT-2 Silver.

a few weeks ago the staff mentioned that the new project would start normal production prior to them getting back to the port over of CEP-2. SO being that C4CW is in beta and hopefully almost through i am hoping for less than 2 weeks before we get it ported over.

Re: Windows Launch still July 17th?

Two weeks is not bad.
I just purchased an AMD 610e chip.......4 core/energy efficient, to assist in this.

Hoping to finish up DDDT-2 Saphire and then working on this new project as well as CEP-2. Cool as a lot is happening.

Re: Windows Launch still July 17th?

I originally joined WCG to help in the Clean Energy project, so I'll be glad to get involved in phase 2. I hope they get a windows version active soon.

Now that the clean water project is off and running perhaps they will after a well deserved rest work on CEP-2 for Windows.
