Ovarian Cancer

My friend has ovarian cancer. She has just been diagnosed after lots of delays, and wishes she and her doctors had spotted some of the signs earlier.

She is writing a blog of her experiences before and after diagnosis, to make other people more aware of this disease. Please have a look, and forward it to anyone you know who might benefit from knowing more about it.

The link is: Ovarian Cancer Blog.

Thank you.

Re: Ovarian Cancer

It's most unfortunate when early detection is delayed.
Sending out positive thoughts and good wishes for your friend.

Re: Ovarian Cancer

my prayers are with her... It always sucks with all the delays

when i had an enlarged thyroid it took them almost 3 months (with it making it harder to breath before they operated and then they found out it was cancer.

i guess i was lucky that it was hard to breath otherwise they would have waited 6+ months before they decided to operate and it looks like for me they managed to catch it in stage one.

good luck
