3. Driving on the "wrong side" .... ???? try driving on your side during rush hours you'll find out the true meaning of a wrong side... laughing laughing
4. That figures, automatic gears are ment to be used by: elderly people, disabled people ( missing one leg ), female drivers, Americans and lazy drivers ( cab-drivers mainly ) ... normal people us a manual gear shift.. laughing laughing laughing laughing laughing

Re: Bit of a slow news day

Thanks Geck0 for the Realmedia Alternative Codec's Link it will come in handy

Realmedia is the way forward easily the best quality per byte transfered.
Way ahead of some other Media Players mentioning no names wink

I've been a fan since Release 4 I think its 10 now. Realmedia player is not such a security risk as long as you say no to any install of anything but the player throughout the install.

Hey Frans we're not going to get a say apparently you have said it for us crying
You know what I mean wink Frans do you know where Rasse lives then? Rasse is currently the highest scorer who hasn't got a country flag waving in the internet breeze.

I suspect tonights result will be down a touch as those 24 hour WU come through. Don't be too surprised if we don't make a year in a day tonight (I think that makes sense)

I've just produced a High quality video that shows at 24 frames per second and can be embedded in the forum page - see below. This video last for 4 hours and realmedia player has crunched it down to just 19K. Experience the true joy of the M25 by watching this fabulous movie. After 4 hours just say Good Afternoon to anyone who has greeted you with a Good Morning and the Dave Autumns experience is all yours to own biggrin

Nite

Am I missing something here? How is it the wrong side to be on the left side in the right country? Of coarse if your on the right side in the wrong country it would still be the right side in the right country.
I admit I like an automatic, I grew up with a stick (manual) but I started walking funny as my left leg was more developed than the right - here we go again.
My brother believes that the only thing that should be allowed on the road is a stick. As a matter of fact he believes if your not coordinated enough to drive a stick your probably exceeding your mental capacity and should not be allowed on the road with more intelligent drivers - I will say there is a certain elegance to the thought.
Actually, I long for the day the car will drive itself and let me read a book. biggrin

Re: Bit of a slow news day

Nice pic Graham wink

We were once driving in a right hand drive Landcruiser in a French speaking African country where they use left hand drive. I was sitting in the passenger seat with an absolute asshole of a driver. True to nature he deliberately almost knocked over a pedestrian. I got almost dragged out of the vehicle, everyone shouting at me, because they thought I was driving. Even opening the door and showing them 'no steering wheel' did little to help. They look but don't see. confused
On another occasion the driver did knock over a pedestrian and I was almost arrested by the police. I then convinced them to go with me to the hotel to find a translator. They had no police vehicle so I showed them that they must get into the canopy of the Landcruiser. Once they did I locked them in and drove to the hotel. biggrin When we arrived there I couldn't get it unlocked --the 4 locked in policemen shouting abuse and whatever. There we were, in front of a huge audience with the police locked up. biggrin I found sanctuary in the bar and left it to the translator to sort out biggrin biggrin He did

The attack of the slightly longer than usual Work Unit's bites

Not quite so snappy as "Monster Work Units" or "Killer Work Units" but they have just turned a bit bigger than we have come to enjoy, hence the points dip. Mind you it's just 6 hours into today and I've already posted 1 day and 5 hours and 874 points from 2 machines since last night's update so tonight if we all are lucky enough to do the same the bounceback should make us smile.

I think wilsondr must have a S on his chest as he has just leapt the 3 battling brits in a single bound wink

Team please get behind Maddogstl and AStafford to cheer them over the 100K line

Did I mention that I now have to go and face down the M25 wink
Have a good day wherever you may be on the tiny blue planet
Dave.

Keep 'em crunching - we are making a difference rose
