Come and Join MOT - Now is the time, don't delay, sign up today!1!

Wow Frans that is a truly huge work unit. I thought had some biggies but nothing to compare with that!
I also have M25 story, just to rub it on Dave wink I used to live in the Lake District and work during the week in Reading and Victoria hypnotized
My Monday and Firday drive used to take between 5 hours (not legal at all) and 12 hours (only once thankfully tired ) Did that for almost a year. Fortunately, I had a nice motorway munching 5 series BM at the time. Now my commute is down to 20 mins, (as long as I start in the correct country of course).

Bit of a slow news day

I'm sure those WU's are getting larger again

maximole and WoytaZ are out of the starting blocks posting their first points yesterday. applause

We (only) posted 237,170 points yesterday, pah you no good bunch of wasters wink pick it up at the back there. smile
5257 other teams would give their hind teeth for a points score like that!

I hope that M25 is not having a slow news day today

As promised here's an extract from my trip to work yesterday

http://82.163.156.92/myonlineteam/realmedia/triptowork.rm

It's an 8Mb Realmedia File, you will need to download realplayer to play it back

Enjoy and have a great day
Dave

Dave, Realplayer is borderline malware - use Real Alternative http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm

Re: Bit of a slow news day

Dave --
I watched the video of your commute and think I have figured out why the M25 runs so slowly. You are all driving on the wrong side of the road!!! -- LOL tongue
Your team mate from the US,

Arrrrghh the cones, the cones!!!

I'd forgotten there were so many cones on UK roads.

Anyway Dave I'm sorry to tell you you're video was too boring, no deer running on the road, no race riots, no policeman getting run over by runaway 24 wheelers, very dissapointing. You will not win $2000 with that one. biggrin

Re: Bit of a slow news day

Yep that is the Fast Lane on some of the finest motorway in the land on a good day!!!

It will soon have 6 Lanes both ways, 12 in total, so that car park will be huge biggrin

Did you count the number of cones I passed? Each day is a new treat to find out where we will be routed today.

Anyhow it's you that drives on the wrong side of the road wink

Frans the first place I ever drove on the "wrong" side was in Amsterdam from Schipol down what I think was the M9. It was my worst nightmare come true.

1) The Hire Car was an Vauxhall/Opel Omega the biggest car I had ever driven.

2) The Drivers seat was on the "wrong" side

3) Driving on the wrong side of the road and

4) The first time I had ever driven an automatic!!!!!!

I was following a buddy and we pulled off the Motorway to a roundabout. I naturally put the car into neutral (Park) I didn't know any better. Then tried putting it back into drive (nobody told me you needed to take your foot off the brake and put in back on to release the lever)

My buddy had long since gone, I'm lost in Holland, in a weird car, on the wrong side of the road with great big Articulated Lorries bearing down on me and could I get that car to move?

You should have heard the language in that car it certainly wasn't Dutch.

As you can see I survived to tell the tale
praying
Dave
