Re: Are Servers down?

Ok, knreed, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Would it help if crunchers who are aware of the current server-side issue momentarily stop communicating with WCG servers?

Re: Are Servers down?

At this point I do not think it makes a difference. We can handle the load - it is just a question of why some connections are going sour while others aren't and at the moment it looks random (in other words, we haven't found the cause yet)

Re: Are Servers down?

Okey now )

A suggestion

Please let´s give the techs some rest , is Friday night , nearly Saturday morning

As pointed out by knreed they expect lot of broken connections until they resolve the underlying issue.

You can be assure work in being done to solve this and found the cause

Many thanks for your good understanding in this concern

Regards

JP

Re: Are Servers down?

About 15% of file uploads are going stale and about 22% of scheduler requests are going stale. The rest are getting through.

I just tested it and it worked for me. Can you provide the steps you took and where you observed the problem?

The Webserver is very slow here- currently I'm getting an empty page, when I open http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/viewDevices.do

The problem before was- open a profil like 'home'
http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ms/device/v...onfiguration.do?name=home

and click on 'customize profile'- I did'nt get the tuning options.

Currently I have a white page or a 'simple' view of the page- see:
http://home.arcor.de/hist/view.jpg

I also get sometimes ' ssl_error_handshake_unexpected_alert' in Firefox.

Re: Are Servers down?

Are the servers back to normal service yet? I am still unable to upload or download work. It is over two hours since knreed said all is OK.
