Re: BETA for type C's started.

yup, you are correct as that is a "good negative"...meaning the system is not valid for the researchers to dig deeper in wet lab test.

So far, on the few I have seen, things look to be running normal for C.pr work units.

Re: BETA for type C's started.

The one I picked up was on a remote machine, but it's been returned with no indication of error. Waiting on wingmen.

PS 2.5 hours of runtime.

Re: BETA for type C's started.

Randzo, you noticed these before I did...We are running the ts04 type C's through right now. This is all types including the C.pr in one run. There are 885 work units being sent with this batch.

Re: BETA for type C's started.

Got a few yesterday which all validated doing the usual what you should not be doing so that is promising, all running about 3 hours on the quad/linux.

BETA_ ts01_ a004_ pr89b0_ 0-- 95711 Valid 5/17/10 17:39:29 5/17/10 21:34:36 3.46
BETA_ ts01_ a004_ pr78b1_ 0-- 95711 Valid 5/17/10 17:39:09 5/17/10 21:34:17 3.43
BETA_ ts01_ a003_ pr78a1_ 2-- 1234035 Valid 5/17/10 17:34:59 5/17/10 21:24:24 2.95
BETA_ ts01_ a003_ pr89a0_ 0-- 1234035 Valid 5/17/10 17:34:59 5/17/10 20:55:23 2.95
BETA_ ts01_ a003_ pr91b0_ 1-- 1234035 Valid 5/17/10 17:35:45 5/17/10 20:39:49 2.95
BETA_ ts01_ a003_ pr78b0_ 2-- 1234035 Valid 5/17/10 17:34:59 5/17/10 20:39:28 2.96

Those of today though also of the pr type look to run 6-10 hours plus, also on the quad/Linux. The progress is maybe not all that linear as 2 are at 1 hour with 10% and 2 more are at 1.5 hours at 22%. Will let these run normal as no time presently to mess about with the blowout preventors to test the hydraulics to see if there's any spill...

BETA_ ts04_ a005_ pqa006_ 0-- 1234035 In Progress 5/18/10 15:34:50
BETA_ ts04_ a005_ pqb007_ 1-- 1234035 In Progress 5/18/10 15:36:40
BETA_ ts04_ a004_ pr45a0_ 1-- 1234035 In Progress 5/18/10 16:01:15
BETA_ ts04_ a004_ pr45b0_ 2-- 1234035 In Progress 5/18/10 16:01:37

edit: ... and because it's rare to get a chance at adding a whole day to the tally :P

Re: BETA for type C's started.

Sek,

Remember that these run some calculations at the beginning that are not counted towards your percentage complete. It could have been that it took 30 minutes to get through. Then 10% ever 30 minutes after. That could explain what you are seeing.
