[O&OT] CA's had a pre-notice posted at 9:54 PM and the public announcement was 12:22AM, on my clock... which was when my eyes may have been blinking... during REM sleep.

Oh yes, only knew something was on because the midday stats said 4 had validated at an average of nearly 10 hours.

Jean keeps different hours I think so he may be have been there to grab 1 per core[/O&OT] [Still OT]I knew when they got released and didn't get 1 on my machines. I also did not try to force my machines to download any at that time since only 72 were sent out. We send out over 500k+ results each day. So blink is right[/Still OT] If anyone encounters an issue, please let us know. -Uplinger |

I picked up one (BETA_ts02_a005_ps0000_2) and manually moved to the top of my queue for immediate processing. BOINC Manager says it will be finished 12-1/2 hours from now. I check on it in the morning 8 hours from now. The beta WU completed just over an hour ago. It has been uploaded and is waiting for 1 more wingman to report back in. It completed in 8:10 rather than the ~13.5 hours initially estimated.Well I guess I was very lucky yesterday in getting 1 out of 72 out of 500,000. I'll still only have 7 days toward a bronze beta. I hope my 'puters are asking for WUs next time beta work is in the hopper. Cheers   |

I have seen the three new beta threads at the same time, so it was already too late. Anyway, with 72 WUs at stake I think I would not have attempted anything to get one.
