Thread: Can't create Team Challenges for DDDT2 [RESOLVED] |

For any type of team challenge where I choose DDDT2 as the project, I get an error in red above the challenge name that says There was a problem with the selected project. This happens after hitting Submit. Any other project selections work fine.

Why on earth, would you be wishing to create a team challenge when you KNOW that this project is intermittent?

Know is one thing, remember is altogether another. I create a series of challenges each month. Despite its true intermittent nature, DDDT2 was not officially intermittent in the past and I was able to create challenges for it. It is still an available choice in the project list when creating a challenge. Now that DDDT2 is officially intermittent (within the last month as I recall), it most likely got left in the project list during that change as I would think, as you do, that challenges are for active projects only and not for intermittent ones. If that is in fact the case, the admins simply need to remove DDDT2 from the project list there. While another answer is possible, I doubt it.

While I'm allowing for the possibility of something else, I fully expect that the admins simply missed removing DDDT2 from the list when they switched it to intermittent status. |

This should be fixed now. You should still be able to create a challenge for DDDT2 since it is considered an Active Intermittent project.

Yep, problem fixed. Challenges for DDDT2 created fine. "Active Intermittent" huh? You guys looking to join the ranks of "military intelligence" and "Microsoft Works"?

For lack of a better phrase, yes... :) we have these project identifiers right now.
Active (ex: faah, hpf2, etc...) Active Intermittent (DDDT2) Complete Intermittent (DDDT1, IADS1, CEP1) Complete (RICE, HDC, etc...) We had to make up something between Active and complete intermittent. Hope this helps with the terminology used. :) -Uplinger |
