We're doing a little experiment over at Xs for the week of May1-May8
----------------------------------------The purpose is to show the computational power that exists on the XS forum. The idea is to get all the XS members to run WCG for one week to show the power that is there. Now I don't know how many people I can motivate to get onboard but I'm giving it my darnest.. <- Thats for Bill B. Movieman, dont forget about BOINC Pentathlon on 1-25 May, many crunchers will participate! Though i like your idea, and you may count on our team (Ukraine) for this race (i'll make an announcement on team forum)Ahh, my friend. I think you misunderstood me. I'm not looking to take other WCG teams and combine them with us for the week, just trying to get all the members of Xtremesystems forum to come and show the computational power that resides in the forum. I do greatly appreciate your offer but stay where you are please otherwise it defeats the purpose. |

Many forum members on XtremeSystems are joining.
----------------------------------------We have just started seeing the first results trickle in as everyone works on getting up to speed and their overclocks stable for our *experiment*. If XtremeSystems beat Team 2ch you'll see many deep bows of respect and admiration... that's ~30 Tfl what they're outputting daily, ~41,000 results what seems to be a cross mix of the active sciences at WCG.

We are optimistic that we can break 10m once we get up to speed.
This will put us at about ~1/2 of their output with ~100 times fewer active members.  |
