Constant Errors on Human Proteome Folding on Q9550 Proc, Win 7 64k

Any idea why I would be getting contant errors on Human Proteome results while Fight Aids seems to run fine? I have just switched to Win 7 64 bit processing in an Intel q9550 proc. Not overclocked. Any ideas?

Thanks to all who replied. The quick response to my problem is especially appreciated. At least I know it was nothing I said ... tongue

Re: Constant Errors on Human Proteome Folding on Q9550 Proc, Win 7 64k

Hi fkehoetx, unfortunately, there is an (as yet) undetectable issue with HPF2. Some get it, others don't, and there doesn't really seem to be a major pattern - although it does appear to be worse with a machine with a higher number of cores.

There have been numerous investigations (and threads) about this issue, and, I'm led to believe, that the techs are going to be having another look into it soon. Apparently, they've "caught" one of these erroneous WU's on a machine in their lab - and thus, have something to 'play' with...

Edit: Have a look in this thread anyone else seeing these kinds of errors? I'm getting tons of them.

As far as I remember correctly problem was with 64b cores (and 64b version of Boinc) rather than with multicores.
