Looks like work may be running out, at least for the windows platforms, unless there is some process that doles the work out a little at a time.

I've received 36 WU's quite easily, but pulled out for others to get a chance to receive some. I'm doing the same, well sort of - I turned one system off, turned the cache down to 0.05days on another two, and will not try to get any more, though a few more might come my way.I have 9 in PV: ts06_ a011_ pr02b1_ 0-- q8400 Pending Validation 18/06/10 21:24:23 18/06/10 22:44:44 0.17 3.9 / 0.0 ts06_ a011_ pr23a0_ 1-- q8400 Pending Validation 18/06/10 21:24:23 18/06/10 22:44:44 0.16 3.5 / 0.0 ts06_ a011_ pcb009_ 1-- i7 Pending Validation 18/06/10 20:52:51 18/06/10 21:36:15 0.27 6.5 / 0.0 ts06_ a011_ pca009_ 1-- i7 Pending Validation 18/06/10 20:52:18 18/06/10 21:36:15 0.25 5.9 / 0.0 ts06_ a010_ sr78a1_ 1-- Q6600 Pending Validation 18/06/10 20:51:23 18/06/10 22:38:02 1.17 17.3 / 0.0 ts06_ a010_ sr78b0_ 0-- Q6600 Pending Validation 18/06/10 20:51:23 18/06/10 22:38:02 1.17 17.4 / 0.0 ts06_ a008_ sr78a0_ 0-- IC2D Pending Validation 18/06/10 20:47:16 18/06/10 22:51:11 1.42 17.7 / 0.0 ts06_ a002_ sr89b0_ 0-- i7 Pending Validation 18/06/10 20:37:59 18/06/10 22:05:11 1.01 24.2 / 0.0 ts06_ a005_ pla006_ 0-- Phenom II 940 Pending Validation 18/06/10 19:39:19 18/06/10 22:41:33 2.08 41.2 / 0.0 There seems to be quite some variation in the run times; 16min to over 2h, but with more than one type being released don't read too much into the times. |

Also up to 13 in PV, with no valids. I dont expect to pick up any more work units, as I started to run other tasks again, and selected the, "If there is no work available for my computer for the projects I have selected above, please send me work from another project" check box!

Does anyone know how to move a WU to the top of the list? I do not want to delete or suspend any of the other WUs but I would like to manually place a ts06 WU at the top of the list.
Thanks all. |

The only way I know is to suspend the other WUs. If you don't want to suspend running WUs, you can suspend the ones that are "Ready to Start" until the DDDT2 WU starts and then resume the others. |

dkt, just temporarily suspend all the others, so the one in question starts - then, release the rest. Even if the original one(s) resume running again, the one you've just started, will run next.
----------------------------------------This is, of course, assuming that there's nothing complicated - such as a totally full buffer/WU's very near there due date, where WU's are running 'High Priority'. ![]() |
