What Happened! I dropped by Cache to .5, aborted a lot of NRW to let other people get badges, and selected DDDT2 as my only project. I got 180 WU in two days, but now I have not got a single one in 12 hours.

Are they all gone?

Re: c-types arrived

yah, all gone - i think around 10pm ET last night.

Aborting NRW WUs won't help other people as the project won't re-issue repair units.

Re: c-types arrived

It appear that we will need have a lot of patience. In this pace, this project need be classified as intermitent...

Including based on the first news about the project, were was mentioned this intermitents periods between the batches. So, after almost a month since launched it continue in the same way.

Why not change ?

I tend to agree. I've only gotten maybe 18 hours to date (all type C) since this project started. It seems it is more difficult to get production WU's than the Beta WU's smile I have 3 fairly fast and reliable AMD multi core CPU's running Linux 24/7 and have yet to get a type A unless the i7 Windows platforms are considered "the A type" fast machines for these types. Not gripping, just expressing a concern.

Re: c-types arrived

Folks, I'm sure as more and more A types start to filter down to B, and then B to C, there'll become a more steady flow - albeit, interspersed with periods where there's no more WU's.

Basically, we've always got to remember that, unlike the other projects we've got running here, for DDDT2, there are periods where the scientists need to do "their bit" in between the stages - and, unlike the power of WCG, they need sleep...

Re: c-types arrived

They were released on last Friday, about 48 hours ago... I snagged about 350 of them, but they were all crunched within about 20 hours.

Seems, that we will have to get used to the situation, and begin to be patient (and that will get hard for me...). sad

Maybe tomorrow, on Monday, we might get a few new ones... rolling eyes praying good luck
