That's excellent! I'm awaiting 13 pages to be validated. They'll get there... eventually.

Re: DDDT2 Project Badge Recognition Thread

No hope in my lifetime... I just had a 0.20 hour job going into PV. That's 100mb bandwidth for 1 hour crunch equivalent [the quota whip will stop me though at 80 WU's per day per core]. Now I need to hack a way to make my machine appear as were it having 6 cores instead of 4.

;P

Re: DDDT2 Project Badge Recognition Thread

It is possible using a virtual machine on the physical machine. Must be one that offers all the cores of the host to the guest.
With i7 920 eg 8 threads on the host, the guest on 8 or 16 simultaneous.

Sek was talking about NCPUS; No need of a VM.

sad Re: DDDT2 Project Badge Recognition Thread

I wish I understood how this works. I understand this there is not a lot of WUs out there, but someone is getting them.

I could earn over 80 days of credit a day if I could only get work units. I have very reliable machines, that run 24x7 and return reusults quickly, no cache, and only DDDT2 checked.

I am only getting one WU per day, for the last three days, and one was an error! And only a trickle before that, with 54 days work of work to date..

C'est possible d'augmenter artificiellement le nombre d'unités calculées simultanément par Boinc?
