Who gives a toss who the CA's (what a glorified term) are ....the only thing that really matters is the work isn't it? ![]() CA is not a glorified term... is somebody who is helping in an organized manner... it is our intellectual link with the projects and WCG on a technical and personal level. When you loose a CA (they are not too many, you know?) you loose a little bit of the access to good WCG experience. Then... second issue is how you treat a CA or a member... It should be with honor. |

To hear about something like this on a forum as noble as WCG makes me very sad.

Let's see, this guy is arrogant, sarcastic and rude. Yeah and you want him back as CA like that's gonna happen. Good riddence.

Let's see, this guy is arrogant, sarcastic and rude. I guess you mean knowledgeable and straight-forward, and unlike Sekerob (who has the patience of Job) sometimes gets fired up when he has to answer the same question over and over when the answer is in the Start Here thread or, even worse, already been answered. Whether he stays gone or comes back is really immaterial since none of us are individually important to WCG although we are collectively necessary. |

Whether he stays gone or comes back is really immaterial since none of us are individually important to WCG although we are collectively necessary. What really shows true character, is that, in the background, no matter what people think or say of Didactylos, he's still here, returning completed WU's. So, whether he's been banned from the forum, or just simply chooses to remain "forum free", we simply don't know. I suspect the former, although as the WCG Admins haven't had the courage to explain their actions (perhaps hoping, that his name and the errors which occurred on both sides of the flareup are slowly forgotten about), we'll more likely never know.... What I'm pretty certain though, is that Didactylos still does read the forums, thus, crunch on - I, for one, appreciate what you did as a CA and the good intentions which existed behind your actions to try and promote WCG to a wider audience ![]() ![]() |

......although as the WCG Admins haven't had the courage to explain their actions (perhaps hoping, that his name and the errors which occurred on both sides of the flareup are slowly forgotten about), we'll more likely never know.... Over the past 2 weeks I have sent WCG 3 emails and they have not replied (and I am pretty sure I have not offended them). So I now have learned a bit more about how WCG fails to mange serious confrontations. |

The CA status is an amicable agreement between WCG and the CA.
----------------------------------------Each party may end this agreement whenever they want without having to give explanations to outsiders. These are not quotes from a contract which does not exist, it is just my personal understanding. Do you request all details and a history of past incidents when some of your friends or relatives divorce? A statement that common life is no longer possible should be enough. Outsiders never know everything anyway, even when they think they know. Cheers. Jean. |
