How would you know if he posted a lot since you have only been a member since today... whistling

You must be related to Didactylos. Your reply sounds just like one of his.

Even though your question doesn't deserve an answer and you probably already know the answer, I will answer it. It's not a requirement to be a member to read these forums.

Phantom Cruncher could well have been a guest, looking in at us... wink

As to what's happened to Didactylos, I think I'll let the Admins provide an answer.

What's certain though, is that I miss his comments and helpful ways.

Re: Where happened to Didactylos?

He produced a facebook app and WCG admin did not like the lack of a disclaimer saying it wasn't the official WCG app. They stripped him of his CA title, he tried re-posting a few times, and then disappeared. Not sure if he has been banned or just quit posting out of frustration.

Re: Where happened to Didactylos?

Thankfully, Didactylos is still returning results and is thus, still around.

As to whether he has been banned from the forum (and if so, for how long) or that he's just not posting for whatever reason, only the Admins will be able to say...

Personally, I think his heart was in the right place, and that the issue with the facebook app was a case of "six and two three's" (i.e., both sides got entrenched into their own sides of the arguement, and until someone 'gave in', no way was a compromise going to be reached).

BTW, just because Didactylos doesn't appear to be posting anymore (for whatever reason), doesn't mean that he's not "looking in"

I will answer it. It's not a requirement to be a member to read these forums.

Right, and also, when someone becomes a member it is not forbidden to read back for knowing who is who, for getting an idea of what is discussed here and, if possible, for not starting the same threads again and again.

Thank you for having apparently done it Phantom Cruncher, and welcome here! Jean.
