It could be, it could not be. If you expand your history view to 60 days, you'll see some very big days such as 333 Nov.2 and 327 Nov.3. From what I can tell, there was a knreed/team hopper joystick event when HCC had a brief short [as announced] and suddenly RICE and HPF2 having lots more work send out. These 2 projects have an entirely different validation logic than the other projects i.e. if the 10th or 15th result comes in you have 10 / 15 at once add into the results for the day and that burst seems to have concentrated on Monday/Tuesday Nov.2/3, right after the weekend when this build.
----------------------------------------Anyway, yes, taken that into account one could say that Monday was a 'normal' business day record. The project share in the below chart shows a fairly good inter-science share balance with a slight shortage on FAAH (connect issue with SCRIPPS), but was assured by techs that it was overcome and full throttle resumed... come and get as much as you want stock being accessible again. ttyl, and thanks all for making this happen. Personally I have flagged November 2 as the current record day (points, runtime and results) after waiting a few days to check if it was balancing any abnormally low day before or after this date. But it was not. In fact the 7-day points record has been improved on 5 consecutive days (Nov 3 to 7) during this particular week.
----------------------------------------However I have not posted it because it was not perfectly "natural": Kevin had implemented his new device matching mechanism for HCMD2 during the previous week end and there have been a few days during which older WUs went out of PV jail while the new ones were getting validated much sooner. If I remember well I have gone from 15 pages of PV down to only 3 within 2 days! Cheers. Jean. |

And the quest continues... FAAH (in the parallel 2nd Annual Challenge) plus HFCC up, other projects slightly down, in overall share... all together blasting the 7 day TeraFlops record passing the 375 average.

Great news Sekerob!
----------------------------------------We're steady at #3 and I'm afraid we don't stand a chance against #2 and 1 (great work there!). Hopefully we can still expect some competition from the French, the Chinese or the Czech teams?! Anyway, keep on crunchin'! ![]() |

Thanks!! Good to see that you're all still hanging around here!
---------------------------------------- It would be great for WCG if Decrypthon would be able to outperform XS. But what I find even more impressive is that you are still far ahead of them with more than 10x less the amount of members! Man, man, if only we could all have a dual i9! ![]() ![]() |

If Decrypthon motivated their members or Easynews or Team 2ch got into this Christmas Challenge I'd bet you dollars to dimes I could motivate enough people to run WCG for the month to make it one heck of an interesting battle. As to a i9 system, ahh.. What are those? ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Movieman at Dec 9, 2009 4:05:35 PM] |
