Avg, 307.8 years Excellent news! I am pretty sure it will work to break this average of 300 daily CPU years for december. A very successful milestone in the finish of 2009! Thanks for keeping us up to date! [Edit 1 times, last edit by roundup at Dec 5, 2009 9:05:08 AM] |

Are you attributing the increase specifically to the Christmas challenge?

I choose to, but can think of other reasons of shifting resources too. The FightAIDS@Home annual challenge too has it's external attraction... a double whammy combined with things happening in the global dc world. US employment figures were positive too, not negative, but, let's not take this topic in reflection of the time of the season too much off.

I have no clue what the reason for breaking all those records is but I love the result: More power for the WCG.

XtremeSystems is in and we've set a goal for ourselves of 200,000,000+ points for the month.
----------------------------------------Our best to all the teams and lets use this opportunity to motivate some new crunchers to join us at WCG and squash these diseases! Just think of the result of each of us bringing in one new person. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Movieman at Dec 5, 2009 9:47:08 PM] |

Don't know about you guys, but I've got trouble getting FAAH unless I select this as me only project... who took the stock or having preferential treatment ;?
----------------------------------------Anyway, we're doing superb. Saturday and Sunday had all time day of week records and the 7 day sliding was upped to 2,138 CPU years... 305.4 CPU years daily average. ![]() Full size image link

This is simply looking fantastic! I have been slightly sceptical about taking part as a very small team, but I have to say, it's a big fun being part of this and seeing all available cores focussed on one project.
----------------------------------------But let's also hope we can win some additional crunchers this way and make them stay for longer. Have fun breaking even more records, guys. ![]() ![]() |
