Hi
Seems to me things are geared too much towards the big teams. How about having race classes according to team size? >10 >25 >50 >100 >too damn big ![]() |

To illustrate this situation graphically for the current 64 teams:
see picture members teams <=10 41 >10 4 >25 6 >50 3 >100 9 >400 3 Let's see what we can do about this, Erkan YILMAZ |

We did something on that order for the Bunny Race in 2008. The two largest teams blew everyone else away. We rather arbitrarily grouped teams together to make more or less competitive classes. It is worth pointing out that we didn't ask anyone first. There weren't any objections and a few people seemed to like it.
----------------------------------------The rest of the Bunny Race graphs are on Photobucket in my album (geopsychic). They are currently on page 20. ![]() As it happens I expect to be out of the country when this starts so I can't promise to help out. If anyone wants the scripts I use to generate these, let me know. The scripts use Perl, wget and gnuplot, all of which are available on Linux and Windoze. I can be reached at geopsychic at gmail thingy [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Nov 9, 2009 10:30:22 PM] |

There is created an info page about the race here .
We surpassed already last year's participants. And I'm confident that with your help we will also surpass the one from 2007. Just spread the news. If the race would start today from all teams a total of 18772 members would be helping WCG @feckit: could you elaborate more please? Thank you! Erkan YILMAZ this year's race commander |
