Errors in a laptop

After a few months of crunching in my wife's laptop, yesterday I found in the "results status" that four different tasks from 3 different projects had been ened (back to back) as "errors" all of them within a few hours and in the same machine.

What can be causing this?

Re: Errors in a laptop

Gremlins, Leprechauns, evil little men, Bill Gates, Beelzebub... don't know. Temporary insanity on the part of windows. First thing is visit the Result Page 'error' links and compare the logs for commonalities. If it's one of those 1073741819 type codes, start by booting your wife's laptop. and run a few diagnostics such as memtest86.

Re: Errors in a laptop

I think you are right, it was a Gremlin, the laptop has completed a couple of tasks and a couple of days have gone by without an error. Maybe all we needed was a reboot.
Thanks
