Predicting strains? I thought it was just CHARMM processing of phase 1 results, just like DDDT? - esoteric17 Hello! There will be a IADS - Phase 2. It will launch after DDDT Phase 2 (never enough man/woman power to get everything launched immediately). Plus, we need time to finish analyzing IADS Phase 1 results before launching Phase 2. IADS Phase 2 will utilize the same code (largely CHARMM) and strategy as DDDT Phase 2. This will require very little beta testing since the heavy recoding and testing is taking place with DDDT Phase 2. As with DDDT, we will keep IADS Phase 1 active (or intermittent if one prefers) to test ideas that arise during data analysis. As noted by esoteric17 (above), we are not predicting new strains. We are looking to discover new drug candidates (mainly neuraminidase inhibitors) that are broadly effective against current and Tamiflu/Relenza-resistant influenza A strains. Good luck to you and your crunching machines! We sincerely appreciate the help! Stan [Edit 3 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 30, 2009 3:31:32 PM] |
