BOINC Manager (6.6.36, I have not had any fetch problems and I have been using this version since it was released) has been asking for WUs but was not getting any with the following message:
----------------------------------------10/11/2009 6:07:22 AM World Community Grid Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks 10/11/2009 6:07:22 AM World Community Grid Message from server: No work sent 10/11/2009 6:07:22 AM World Community Grid Message from server: No work is available for Influenza Antiviral Drug Search 10/11/2009 6:07:22 AM World Community Grid Message from server: No work is available for The Clean Energy Project 10/11/2009 6:07:22 AM World Community Grid Message from server: No work is available for Help Conquer Cancer I thought maybe MrKermit was pulling a hoover on HCC (I kind of like when he does that :-). I looked at my Device Profile I already had the "send work from another project checked" but I wasn't getting anything? I then changed my device profile to "All Projects" and still nothing, except now it just says... 10/11/2009 6:52:12 AM World Community Grid Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks [Edit 2 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 11, 2009 1:27:36 PM] |

Same situation here.
----------------------------------------In addition to Snow Crashs observation I do not get WUs for RICE and HFCC. CMD2 and FAAH units are still available. Same messages on clients 6.2.28, 6.6.20 and 6.6.28. Edit: ... and now CMD2 and FAAH units are also unavailable... [Edit 2 times, last edit by roundup at Oct 11, 2009 11:06:41 AM] |

On that profile, if someone is stockpiling without you having the alt option on, it will be chewing air ;>)
----------------------------------------But, atm I can't even get a response to say yes/no work on the quad and the duo dedicated to HFCC asks for 38000 seconds and is not getting anything either. 10/11/09 13:07:04 WCG Sending scheduler request: To report completed tasks. Requesting 38151 seconds of work, reporting 2 completed tasks 10/11/09 13:07:09 WCG Scheduler request succeeded: got 0 new tasks Think there's a need to call Calamity Jane (but maybe it is auto recovering) PS: Reporting is fine and not getting any error reports back, i.e. it must be something in the feeders... before the shared memory parts?

Funny I didn't know where to post this issue.
2009-10-11 12:54:30 World Community Grid Requesting new tasks for CPU 2009-10-11 12:54:35 World Community Grid Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks I think this shows there should be a Forum for general WCG support, I don't think this is a Website support issue. I guess we will see a thread in every project reporting this issue soon :) |

If not sure, general project related put it in BOINC Support, lest it's a website malfunction, but you found the right topic ;>)

I then changed my device profile to "All Projects" and still nothing ... but I do have it checked (and already did, it was the first thing I looked at.) so is there something going on with profiles not recognizing the "alt option"?I have no personal worries as my buffer is at 2.75 days (working on reducing that, I was chasing a badge) but I bet there are some *real time* crunchers that are definately chewing nothing :-( {edit} Sek - please move this post as you see appropraite. {/edit} [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Oct 11, 2009 11:19:25 AM] |

I've got a rice only machine that has been asking for work for 4.5 hrs.
Another with "any other" ticked has been asking for 2+ hrs. Looks like the problem arose some time ago. And I've got 1 machine out of work. This is a crisis! |
