We have had issues with some of the projects and lost WU's and appreciate you pointing out the fact that Beta's are risky which I for one sometimes do not take into consideration when Badge hunting. Our volunteering is all for a great cause but I like others do get frustrate when we loose work but for me it is really MY problem not WCG's Thanks

I know there were some issues with the last round of Betas. This has obviously delayed the release of the version B and version C betas. Has there been any progress in restructuring the A version betas?

... This beta test went really really badly... Any idea about when the next beta batch is planned?... beta tests sometimes resulting in credit not being fairly awarded? That is unfortunately part of beta testing... Yep. This is not fun, but understandable. Anyway, I assume that the higher priority goes to getting the project up and running, and not fixing the beta credits. |

We are still working with the researchers to figure out why so many memory issues and other problems with those BETA work units. We are making progress, but with work units that take 50 hours and an error occurs at any point in them it takes time to debug the issues. At this time we do not have any BETA's planned as we have to wait for successful alpha tests.
Again, with the length of these work units, testing is taking time. Thank you for your patience and support. -Uplinger |

We are hopeful to have more BETA's before the end of the year, when exactly is still a mystery as we are still doing development and testing ourselves.
