Did you know User Friendly is mostly Canadian?
The comic strip is set in a small ISP in British Columbia. |

Does anybody on team Canada have a solid interest in an organised recruiting campaign aimed at:
1. gaining a huge number of new members 2. working with old and new members to maximize returned results 3. taking top position and keeping it These goals are all attainable if we are ready to give up a little BBB&W time this summer. Can ya taste it? Do ya want it? |

What a beautiful day we have here in Calgary. It's a little cloudy but the bees are busy, the grass is growing and hmmmm..... dandelions!
From the French dente de leons which means "lions teeth". The jagged leaf of the dandelion reminds one of a lion's teeth. |

I was thinking of spraying them with a herbicide not picking them.
Many years ago a bunch of us harvested enough dandelions to fill 2 plastic 45 gallon drums. We made wine. Gordon was the only one in our group with any experience making wine so we put him in charge, of course. Eventually Gordon declared the wine ready. We gathered for the big wine party. It was pretty bad but we were all broke students and it was potent so it was good enough for us. We asked Gordon to bestow a name upon our creation. "Hog Caller!", he declared, "After we graduate and find jobs we will sip Hochtaler but until then we will quaff Hog Caller, a haughty little wine with a wild heritage." One of our group was a student of the Fine Arts. For one of her projects she created a 3 color silkscreen of a drunken pig. Splendid!! We invested in 100 T-shirts, gathered for another Hog Caller party, borrowed her screens and made 100 Hog Caller T-shirts which we sold on campus along with an invitation to The First Annual U of L Hog Caller Smoker and Soiree. We rented a hall in a small town just outside the cityand invited all the local musicians to come out and jam. Mmmmm, those were the days! |

Funny you should mention that, I was a student myself when I had my run in with the home vintage, and potent is was! Hey maybe there is a business op here? |
