Today is the eighth anniversary of the WTC & Pentagon horror. Please spare a moment to remember the innocents who died there that day, and in the aircraft that failed to reach it's intended destination.
God be with them always, and with their families. |

Be insured that even in France, September 11th is now synonymic of WTC, Pentagon, and terrorist attacks and nobody forgot these hours of horror and inhumanity.

Was in a conference room with a colleague who's brother worked at the WTC. Took 6 hours to locate him. He was on a day off out of town. I flew that night to London Gatwick and on and only at the next pass through for a 04:00 AM check-in did it hit the airport management, only the barest minimum of travel stuff such as medicine allowed as carry-on. The Airport building was evacuated ones. It was eerie calm how controlled the staff and passengers moved onto tarmacs and other points as directed by the staff and security. 7 Months later was watching from my San Donate office the fire in the downtown Pirelli tower, hit by a (small) plane. Shudders down the spine.
----------------------------------------No 9/11 Never to be forgotten.

I was in Stamford Connecticut that morning. I could see the towers across the water. I drove through NYC the morning before on my way up there.
My mother-in-law was supposed to be at the Pentagon for a briefing that morning, but it had been cancelled. A horrible and tragic day in history definitely. But to see how people came together to help one another was amazing. |

I was at work at the time and we were all watching the news, couldn't believe my eyes.
