Is this one of those systems that was under water in Louisiana after the Katrina Hurricane

I'd say tell us where you are getting one so we can all get one! Two quad core cpu's for about $100.00, that seems to be a no brainer!! Hard drives are really cheap, no cd/dvd drive needed for Boinc only machines after the OS is loaded, no floppy drive needed, just add a hard drive, maybe a cheap video card if one is not built in and some memory and a case and you are good to go!! Say another $100.00 or so depending on what you have laying around and for about $200.00 you can have an 8 core machine crunching, how can you beat that?!! Sometimes memory is unique, meaning non generic and expensive, to Opteron boards but not always.
