There was a second variation to this red text warning but presently cant reproduce, but in effect the QR box no longer works for me.

Re: Forum Issues - Please post here

So I've just posted in this thread... lets see... this is a Quick Reply:

edit: and now it works.

Is it maybe because I've got a second post in draft on another tab? Previewing works fine on that one.

Re: Forum Issues - Please post here

Seems though to work for the shorter texts such as "exit code", 7457 hits biggrin

Sorry to insist, but "No":
exit AND code: 644 hits
exit OR code: 7129 hits
exit code: 7129 hits
"exit code": 7129 hits
'exit code': 7129 hits

Now, if you or somebody else can explain where the 328 missing hits (7457 - 7129) have gone??? confused

7129 +1 = 7130 :-)

As expected, there are fewer results when signed out.

Re: Forum Issues - Please post here

Kevin, thanks for fixing so much so quickly! The size tags work - sorta. It seems to work by itself and in combination with bolding but not color. Here's some examples that hopefully help:

Markup with delimiters changed:

{size=4}Testing{/size} works
{color=blue}Testing{/color} works
{b}Testing{/b} works
{color=blue}{b}Testing{/b}{/color} works
{b}{color=blue}Testing{/color}{/b} works
{size=4}{color=blue}Testing{/color}{/size} fails
{color=blue}{size=4}Testing{/size}{/color} fails
{size=4}{b}Testing{/b}{/size} works

Results of actual markup:

Testing works
Testing works
Testing works
Testing works
Testing works
Testing fails
Testing fails
Testing works

These work correctly in Firefox 3.5, Chrome, Safari, IE8 and IE7. I know that the two you list as failing do fail on IE6. We will not be correcting it for IE6. What browser are you using?

Re: Forum Issues - Please post here

As a separate item, I see that the email and website icons are no longer part of posts. These may be gone on purpose and the website one is no big deal. With no email icon, there's no practical way to contact other members who are willing to share their email address. As a team captain, having an icon for mine provided a practical way for team members and others to contact me offline. Technically, team members can do that thru the team page. While team members can opt in to receive emails from their captian, I as captain can only email the opted-in team members as a group and not as individuals. Contacting an individual offline in a timely manner isn't possible without the email icon option.

Both you and Sekerob have requested this. We will be adding these back shortly. They will only be viewed by signed in members. We are also changing the ability to view the member profile to be required by signed in members only.

Of course, and I had checked it. The same search on the CA forum gives 380 hits (not 328) and redoing the global search just after gave 7129 again, so these 380 were already part of the 7129 (as the details of the list also confirm).

Just another of those mysteries. Jean.
