I believe the minimum requirements for this project include all mac hardware but I have a PPC that has been asking for work and getting the message that there is no work for this type of (hardware) computer. Is the minimum requirements page wrong?

Don't know. Did you see beta? Sure to remember a post that said 'all platforms', but that may have been HFCC or FLU1. The last 'MAC' mention in the Beta announcement forum was in January and in Beta support there's this April post on HCMD2: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/printpost?post=226039
----------------------------------------There's so many homogeneity groups for this project that this may have fallen off the test-bench. Tech reply required.

Sorry for the confusion. HCMD2 only runs on Intel Macs. We will get the system requirements updated.
