Hey Folks! I was working down in the data mines this morning and found a pile of team based stats. I don't have anything at an individual level (yet...still mulling over if I want to go blasting into the vein), but there are lots of nuggets I could unearth for us. Just a few examples:
* December 2011 was our best month ever for both Run Time 36 years 113+ days and Points with 40.3 Million! * August 2011 was our best month ever for Results with 94,100! * Our best day ever occurred just two weeks ago on Feb 7th when we cranked out 1.64 Million Points! * We first averaged over 1 Year of work/day in January 2010. We danced above and below that mark for the next few months, dropping below in June 2010 and staying there until June 2011 where we've stayed way above that mark. How far? In the past 7 months, we've only had one month where we've averaged less than 400 days/day. * So far in February, we are averaging 484 days of runtime for every day - a new team best! * In November 2010, we broke the 100 Points/hour of computing time barrier. * 2009 and 2010 were years where we piled on the cores. In 2009, we added 95 years of CPU time. In 2010, we added 62 years on top of that! * 2011 was a year of increased efficiency. We only added 21 years of runtime (about a 5% increase), but increased our points and results output by over 20%! * Finally (for now) HCC has been the number 1 project for us this month. So far, we've cleared 4 years of runtime, 5.3 Million points, and knocked out 25,000 results! Let me know if any of that interests you. Maybe there is other information you're curious about on a team level. Let me know! I can probably get to it. Unfortunately, I don't have any automated process to present the information, but if there is interest in a specific area, it makes it easier to know what to post periodically. |

Congrats on your milestones. I know where you can get one of those 4CPU (80 thread) beasts. It's only ~45k. ![]() I figured I'd save myself the $45k. It's not 80 threads, but I now have 20 threads for free up and running thanks to HP Cloud Services and some good folks from Crunching@EVGA. |

Here are a couple statsoids for you:
We're not even done with February 2012, and we've already surpassed our point total for the year of 2007. We can probably surpass 2008 in March. We've certainly taken up the challenge of SN2S. Since we started crunching it, it's 3rd in our team's total run time behind HCC and CCW. However, if you throw out the first day where it was still spooling up, it's actually 1st in runtime for that period. We should cross 1 year of computing time tomorrow - not bad for less than a week of work! |
