Hi !
I'm trying to convince my school to use BOINC on its network. So I'm looking for a way to easily install boinc and attach to the WCG for the computers in a network. I found two documents about this, from the WCG, it looks like they are somewhat out of date (they are about the 5.10.22 version of BOINC). So I wondered if someone could give me such a document updated, or explain to me how to do. Thanks in advance. |

Some info is http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Creating_custom_installers
----------------------------------------but how easy it is to use this, I've got no idea... ![]() "I make so many mistakes. But then just think of all the mistakes I don't make, although I might." |

Alexfun13,
----------------------------------------Conceptually between then and now nothing much will have changed v.v. what's written in the WCG documents. The latest mass-installer pack made for WCG was 5.10.45, link http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/wcg_mass_boinc_5.10.45_windows_intelx86.exe, to me stable as a house without the bells and whistles of these hidden BOINC accounts that are created with version 6.2 and up.
WCG

Alex,
Bonne chance. Jean. |
